MONOGRAPH | Pharmacy Playbook: Community Immunization Clinics

Playbook icon
This one-hour, print or online monograph serves as a playbook for Kentucky pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to plan and successfully host off-site immunization clinics. Off-site clinics present unique challenges. Best practices for storage, transportation, staffing, and documentation outside of the pharmacy must be addressed. Having a vaccine champion in the pharmacy can streamline overcoming these challenges. This guide and the included resource links will assist the vaccine champion and other pharmacy staff with planning, training, implementation and follow-up. After reading the playbook and exploring the links, pharmacy staff will understand each step of the process and how to avoid or address common problems.
