Specialty Pharmacy Staff Development Sessions 2025-2026

The Specialty Pharmacy Staff Development Sessions are designed to provide UKHC Specialty Pharmacy & Infusion Services Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians with up-to-date information on new drug approvals and therapeutic guideline recommendations.  Each live webinar session is accredited for 1 hour of CPE credit for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Instructions
  • To register for the series please click the Register Now button at the bottom of the page and log in or create an account. Make sure to verify your NABP CPE e-Profile ID and month/day of birth are correct when creating your account. CPE credit will be submitted directly to CPE Monitor using the information entered.
  • After registering, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the session tab for each webinar date to access the session details and evaluation to claim CPE credit. Note the evaluation will not be available until after the session is scheduled to end.

Maximum Fair Pricing Under the IRA: Navigating Cost and Care in Inflammatory Diseases and CLL

1. Analyze the impact of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and Maximum Fair Pricing (MFP) on Medicare-covered specialty medications, with emphasis on therapeutic agents used in inflammatory diseases and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
2. Evaluate therapeutic interchange opportunities for high-cost medications affected by MFP pricing using current clinical guidelines and efficacy data.
3. Demonstrate an understanding of pathophysiology, treatment goals, and pharmacologic management of inflammatory diseases and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) to support appropriate therapeutic decision-making.
