MONOGRAPH | Buprenorphine Essentials: Q&A for Safe and Effective Dispensing

This one-hour, print or online monograph provides Kentucky pharmacists and technicians with answers to frequently asked questions encountered when dispensing buprenorphine products for opioid use disorder (OUD) in a community pharmacy setting. This resource is designed to help mitigate pharmacy-level barriers to dispensing buprenorphine and provide members of the pharmacy team with tools to improve care for patients with OUD in rural Appalachian communities.
This ACPE-accredited continuing pharmacy education activity (0022-0000-24-016-H08-P/T) is designed to meet the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy continuing education regulatory requirement for pharmacists to complete 1 hour of CPE on the opioid epidemic or opioid use disorder as outlined in 201 KAR 2:015.
